For Military Moms message board -

.:Step One :: Register
This is the most difficult part of using this board. Enter the Board at http://militarymoms.net/mb/index.php
and click on register. Read the agreement, and click if you agree or not. Next, fill out the form as best as you can, be sure that you use a valid email address so you can be notified of updates, changes, or anything else along those lines. Try and keep your username short, for example - Susie (Bills Mom) Click submit, and your application will be processed immediately.

If you sign up as Susie (Bill's Mom) please note the system does not recognize the ' and when the system sends you your email to say welcome and verifying your username and password - it will say your username is Susie (Bill/s Mom) you will need to sign in as Suzie (Bill's Mom) not Susie (Bill/s Mom)

.:Step Two :: Login
After you register, you should be redirected to the login page, just enter your username and password that you submitted with your application. Click "Log me on automatically each visit" and then click login. If you are not redirected to the login page for any reason, just click on login on the top of that page.
.:Step Three :: Edit Your Profile
Once your logged in, you have all the features enabled, including profiling, Private Messages, and Topic Starting and Replying use. Let's edit your profile first. Click on Profile on the top of that page, that will let you edit your information, and add avatars, and your own signature. Once you have filled out any or all of your fields, just click submit, and your done. This should take you to a redirect page, and you'll be transferred to the index page, now your ready for...

How to add your own picture avatar -
Join this free web site.... www.photobucket.com  if you do not have access to your own file space. Then follow the instructions on how to upload them to the site. After it is done you will see the choices to post a pic. the bottom with IMG on it is for your avatar. You can resize the picture to three different sizes 25% 50% and 75% of the original picture. Please choose either 50% or 75% of the of the original picture for your avatar size. An avatar is supposed to be a SMALL picture under your user name. Congratulations !!!! You now made your own avatar.
 

.:Step Four :: Posting and Replying
Now your on the index page, there is a few forums that you can choose from. First listed is Welcome, Please Read that before you post anywhere else. Once your finished there, it time to start posting. Click on the Message Board, and either A.) Start a new topic, by clicking on the "NewTopic" button. That will take you to a page where you can start a new topic, just fill out the form, and then post it. That's it, you've posted a topic. Now to reply, this is even easier, just open a topic that has already been post, just click on "PostReply", fill out the form, and post it. That's it, you've posted a reply.

  5. Click "Always Accept Cookies"
  6. Click OK
Windows IE 3.x Browser
  1. Go to View on the menu bar
  2. Pick Options
  3. Click the Advanced tab
  4. Go down to the Cookies section
  5. Click "Warn Before Accept Cookies"
  6. Click OK
Netscape 7.x
  1. Click Edit on the Toolbar.
  2. Click Preferences
  3. Click the Privacy and Security category; expand the list to show the subcategories.
  4. Click Cookies
  5. Three options are displayed. Click the appropriate choice:
    • Disable cookies
    • Enable cookies for the originating web site only
    • Enable all cookies
    • If you want to be notified when a web site tries to set a cookie, select "Warn me before accepting a cookie."

  3. Under the Receiving Files option, select Cookies
  4. Under "When receiving cookies:" select the desired level of cookie acceptance
  5. Under "When receiving cookies:" select the desired level of cookie acceptance
  6. Click OK to finish
Mac IE 4.x
  1. Go to My AOL on the menu bar
  2. Pick WWW
  3. Go to the Advanced Settings option on the Category menu
  4. Click "Cookies"
  5. When receiving cookies: Click "Never Ask"
  6. Click OK

  1. From the AOL Toolbar, select Settings.
  2. Select Preferences
  3. Select Internet Properties (WWW)
  4. Select the Privacy tab
