my daughter will be shipping out of Ft. Lewis, with the Marines, heading to Al Asad, Iraq. The only thing I can find on Al Asad is it is the 2nd largest airbase in Iraq, it is 180 kilometers from Baghdad and it just got a new Cyber Cafe. Can anyone tell me anything else? How large is it? How many troops are stationed there? What facilities are available? Is phone and/or computer useage easy? What should she be taking with her, or what should I be sending over that they can't get there? This is new for us. Your help would be greatly appreciated!

My son Robert Gummer is servin in Iraq with the 1rst Infantry Division. His e-mail address is robert.gummer@us.army.mil. My e-mail address is campbelljudy1228@yahoo.com. My son's been there for about six months now. There's been alot of tears here, with me and his sister Tinetta Gummer. We miss and love him so much. He's saved also, we attend Canton Christian Fellowship here in Canton. I would like to make greeting cards to send over to our service people there. Can you tell me what , I need to do to get started with my card ministry? Thank you.

I'm not a soldiers' mom, only a sister of 2 who have both served, a daughter of one, and a friend of many. My best friend got put on alert March 1 and left May 15, although still in the States, I find myself feeling guilty for missing him so. Even though I'm not a military mom, I am a mother and cannot even begin to imagine how difficult it is to let go of a child; to put that child in the hands of others, without the opportunity to keep yours protected. God Bless you all!!!

I don't have anyone in the military, I hope you don't mind if I post this poem....... ~WHAT MAKES A SOLDIER~ GOD TOOK THE STRENGTH OF A MOUNTAIN, THE MAJESTY OF A TREE, THE WARTH OF A SUMMER SUN, THE CALM OF A QUIET SEA, THE GENEROUS SOUL OF NATURE, THE COMFORTING ARM OF NIGHT, THE WISDOM OF THE AGES, THE POWER OF THE EAGLE'S FLIGHT, THE JOY OF A MORNING IN SPRING, THE FAITH OF A MUSTARD SEED, THE PATIENCE OF ETERNITY, THE DEPTH OF A COUNTRY'S NEED, THEN GOD COMBINED THESE QUALITIES, HE KNEW IT WAS A WORK LIKE NO OTHER, WHEN HIS MASTERPIECE WAS COMPLETE, HE CALLED IT............. AN AMERICAN SOLDIER AUTHOR UNKNOWN GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS AND THEIR FAMILIES MAY HE KEEP THEM SAFE UNTIL THEY ARE TOGETHER AGAIN.............. WITH THE DEEPEST RESPECT...... THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY......

Hello from Ukraine. By looking at my friends, I have come to a conclusion, that all modern men only get married because they need to, or the age has come. Excuse me, but what about love? They come to us with flowers and a proposal, ask us to merry them, and yet the night before the ceremony they make a -boys party- as if they are loosing each other forever. I want to find a smart, clever and also romantic man, I decided to try my luck and search the Internet. I have posted my profile on the web www.mylady.info May be I will be fortunate to find my love here. My profile is 4046. Irina.

Thank you so much for this site. I have a son who is in the Air Force. When he left home for basic training, I was lost. Not hearing from him worried me greatly, until I found your site and read Basic Training for Moms. Reading your information brought a great deal of comfort to my heart and mind. I have referred to your site on many occasions to find information that is so hard to find any place else. Again, thank you for your love and commitment to our troops.

Great site! My son is stationed at Fort Bragg, NC and is in the 82nd Airborne Division. Our Army journey started in June, 02 with him leaving for Basic in June, 03 just 5 days after he graduated from high school. Sometimes I long to find someone who understands how I feel. I'm proud, I miss him, I want to be a part of the Army family, I want to contribute. I love going to visit him in North Carolina. I am a single mom with another younger son and we all share a really special bond. We were together on the 4th at Bragg for a great fireworks show, the music was patriotic, I felt a part of a big family. Airborne All the Way!

I feel silly because my son has not yet left and I'm already missing him. I had him when I was 16 and he has grown into a fine young man who will be leaving for Air Force basic training in exactly 18 days. I find that as each day goes by my heart aches with both pride and sadness that his adolescence is virtually complete and this next step concludes it. Our family is spending every possible moment together before he leaves, and I want this time to be possitive and happy for him. Because of this I have spent a great deal of time crying alone and thinking of every detail of his childhood and cherishing it. As close as my family is, I just don't feel that they TRULY understand what I am feeling as his MOM and have had a hard time even discussing it. This is what lead me to this site. He was born January 28th, 1986... within minutes of the space shuttle Challenger exploding and I knew then he would have a special purpose in life. I still believe it. But it doesn't make seeing him leave any easier.

Hi! My son went into the Army one month ago today, June 14! We miss him a lot. Today is his dad's birthday, and he's missing him, as am I and his younger brother. We are really proud of him for his decision to join the Army. He's at Ft. Benning, Georgia, right now in his 4th week of training. We don't hear much from him - no phone calls yet (we've missed him a few times! Ugh), but we've gotten a couple letters. We trot to the mailbox daily to see if we got another letter! God bless our troops!

My son, Tripp, joined the Air Force Aug. 1, 2001. We, his wife, son, dad and I left Sept. 11, 2001 @ 0700 to go see him graduate from BMT. There have been so many times the past 3 years that I have needed to know that there are moms out there feeling the same feeling that I do. At present, he is overseas "in a sandbox" for the 3rd time. His wife and sons (he was "out" for the birth of #2) are 2700 miles away from family. THANK YOU so much for being here. Tiff (my darling other daughter) just found this site today and it has already done so much for us. God bless our babies (in combat boots) because, as long as we are living - our babies they will be!

My son Eliot left 6/29/04 and I cant begin to tell you all the mixed up emotions I am feeling. He is my only son and I am so proud of him. He signed up and was not suppose to leave until feb and they called him sooner. I was not prepared for all the feelings that flooded me. I thought I had another six months to prepare mentally. I miss him so much and feel lonely, sad, happy, proud, and want to be strong all at the same time. He will graduate 9/24/04 and I cant wait to see him standing there tall and proud of himself of who he has became.

My youngest son is in Baghdad with the 1st Cav. Div. He went in January and found my sisters son, his cousin he grew up with, in a mess hall there. Joe got to visit with Corey for a couple weeks prior to Corey heading home after a 1 year tour. Corey was featured on one of the TV channels on Thanksgiving morning prior to the parade. He was seeing his baby son for the first time. Corey is glad to be home, but is career and may be headed back shortly. Joe was suppose to get out in April, but got the automatic extension. I pray for his safe return all the time, as well as every other soldier there. I try not to watch the news, but can't help but hear and see some if it. In addition to my son and nephew, I have another nephew that has already returned from there, and 2 more nephews, one with the Marines and one with the National Guard deploying between now and October. It seems as if we can't get anyone home without another going. I don't know how all the mothers over all the years have dealt with their son's and now daughters going off to war? I have a newfound respect for them. Thanks for letting me share.

Thank you for bringing up this wonderful website. God bless you!!My son joint the Army in July of 2001. He was lucky to go to basic training right here in Fort Sill,Oklahoma. He was still in basic training when 9/11 happend. After basic training he went to be stationed in Fort Hood,Texas. He is assigned to 1st Cav. He deployed to Iraq in March 2004.I miss him very much and keep praying daily that God will watch over him and all of our Troops.Sometimes I just sit and cry and I wish that he would be home. I wish that this war would have never happened. But there is a prize to pay to keep our great nation free. I know that I am not the only one who has a son at war. Let us moms keep on praying for our sons, our troops and coalitions.

I am sure many of you are familliar with the song "Letters from War" by Mark Schultz. For those who aren't, it is a very touching story about a mother writing to her son who is serving in a war. The son gets captured and the letters stop. She has no idea whether he is alive or not for 2 years. For a limited time, this song's video is available as a free download. If you want it, I suggest you hurry as I don't know how much longer it will be available. The web page you can get the download is http://downloads.wordrecords.com/

My oldest son has joined the Army (he is 19) and goes to basic training next week. My husband found this site and it is so fantastic. I too support my son, but of course am very worried for him as well. I see on this posting that many feel the same way as I do. We all have something in common - we have great kids who want to serve their country to protect and defend us. I am encouraged that this site exists so that we can have some connections with others going through the same experiences that we are. I am also a quilter and am looking forward to making a blue star quilt.

Why God should bless only USA? You are very stupid to think you are better then other poeple. Here in Germany we know, what dangerousorius things can happen when someone think like you. Most of you are not better than A. Hitler and his friends, especially G. W.Bush, Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld and some more. God will not bless you. God will blow you in the ass soon. I am the proud Military Mom of an only son who has served in Iraq for 16 months. I am flying to Germany to go through reintregration counseling with my son after his service in Iraq. He has received orders that he is to return to Iraq soon with another unit for another 1 year tour. With the support and prayers of a military moms support group in my area I am doing okay. I encourage Moms to get together and talk like we do each month with updates on our childern, where they are, how they are doing, what they(family) need(s), and most importantly a prayer request. We have marched in the Memorial Day and 4th of July Day parades and the response of the crowds is overwellming. My thoughts and prayers go out to all Military Moms and Dads. Thank you for raising the children you did. Without them and the ones who served before them we would not have the freedoms we enjoy each day.

My son, Robbie, has joined the Army. He just turned 18, and is undergoing basic training right now. I am so glad to have found this website, I don't feel so alone, knowing there are other "military moms" out there experiencing the same emotions.

Hello, I am new to this site. I just returned home from Buffalo, NY, where I said goodbye to my son, as he just found out he is being deployed in just about a week. He is in the Army reserves. He is my youngest son, and although I am extremely proud of him, I am also very afraid. At this time I feel like all I want to do is cry. I'm hoping this site will help me get through this, as he might be gone for as long as 2 years. I pray for all of our men and women who are there, that god keeps them safe and brings them home to us all safely. I also pray for all of us who have to cope with the uncertaintly of what's to come. This site is a blessing, Thank You

Hello , I am very new to this site and I just registered. My daughter will be leaving for basic this Wednesday the 7th of July. Her friend will be going into the marines in late August. Another is already serving in Iraq. He tries his best to keep in touch to let her know how he is doing. I have a friend that I e mail a lot and her son is in Germany right now. I sent her son who I don't even know a birthday card back in May. And we just started talking and became friends . We help and support each and talk almost everyday. I think she will really like to hear about this web site. Mom's need love and support too. Thanks and all our love to the troops everywhere!

Wow, I just talked with another military mom and she told me about your Web site and message board. I wish I'd known about this sooner! I have a son, a daughter and a son-in-law all serving in the Army. The kids have been stationed in Kosovo, Afghanistan, Irak, Fort Bragg and Fort Drum. I've always wished to have someone out there to talk to. God bless all of you military moms.

Fantastic site!! While I may not be a mother, what this site does for those who are is terrific!! I'm actually a single male veteran who will be cycling across the United States in the Fall of 2004. I'm cycling for the children of parents who have died in combat. I came across this site while conducting research for my own. My firstborn child and only son leaves this week for basic training. He chose infantry. He is 23 and the first of our 4 children to leave home. We are scared but proud. Military service is not new to our family; my husband, dad, father-in-law, brothers and brother-in-law, many cousins and uncles have all served our nation proudly. Some gave their lives. Nice to have this place to connect with other military families.

I was so uplifted and blessed when I came across this site through someone at dollarstretcher.com. My husband is a retired USAF Msgt and both my sons are military. One son is stationed with the Alabama National Guard in Iraq and my younger son is USN staioned on a ship in the Pacific. I'm in charge of family morale. I try to help my daughters-in-law cope with the long deployments and dangers our guys are facing while keeping my 7 year old grandaughter involved and in touch with her daddy in Irag. As you all know there are good days and bad days where I have to push the worry aside in order to keep the others going including my mother-in-law who worries about her grandsons. I pray "a lot". I know too well how important it is to keep things going well on the home front so that our guys don't worry about us and can do their jobs well. Thank you for a site that helps me do "my job" better.

Just the way the sky is blue Thats the way true love is true Just the way the sun cant keep its rays thats the way love cant fade away Just the way ice is freezing cold in that way love has to be be tolled Just the way the fire is burning hot thats the way love cant be stopped Just the way the moon, stars, and sun have their light we know love must be right So why do people try to stop somthing that shines so Bright? When the world is so unclear everywhere you look is fear Only love can make you tough to beat the days that are so rough If love did not exist peace would not resisit Since the world has lost its way all we can do is pray That love will win the fight and hate will fade into the night.

After seeing my son off this morning for Basic Training (he's Army National Guard) I went online to find some information for reassurance. What a blessing your site is! I thought I was OK with this but now I just feel like crying. My son has wanted to be in the service since he was 5 years old. He graduated from high school last week and will not even turn 18 for another month. The unit he's going to be attached to when he finishes AIT has just been deployed. It's very hard to say at this point whether he'll be joining them eventually. I've registered for the site and am anxiously awaiting activation so I can participate in the message boards. This is a wonderful site - thank you very much. My family will be purchasing shirts to wear to graduation and to support the site and its good works for our servicemen and women!

Members of the Military, Family, and Friends- I need your opinion and feedback. I am a freelance writer and web designer in the Greenville, SC area. I want to do something to bring the Military families closer together online. Thanks to technology the military men and women are able to talk back and forth via the Internet, web cams, telephone etc. unlike so many Wars in the past. What I want to do is build a website and or sites dedicated to those growing families, friends, changing lives etc for the men and women to keep in touch with the family still here in the US or stationed in other places in the world. For example say for instance you have someone stationed in Iraq and they have a wife at home who would like to email pictures of the new baby, children as they grow, pictures of the weather or just anything; the Site would be password protected so they would only give the password for their particular site to those who they want to have it and they would be able to send messages via a guest book, email, pictures etc. I do understand that web sites are easier to build now and technology has advanced where email is sometimes enough, but sometimes it isnít enough and everyone doesnít have time to build a site. Please provide me any feedback, opinions, criticisms etc. As I would like to have some sites up and running before Independence Day! Site would only take about 48 hours to build dependent on how long it took to get the pictures and information to me. Thanks TP Smith

I want to thank this group for alowing me to become a new member. I have not been on because I went to N.C. to see my son and his family. He is in the Army. He left to go "bye-bye's" on Tuesday, June 15th. He will be gone for about 6 months to a year. He is the only son I have so when you pray, please say one for me for moral support. I miss him so much, but I know he is in good hands. He and his family are all Christians, as I am and I have put him in the hands of the Good Lord, as all the military. Well, thank you for leting me "vent" a little. God be with all of you and your families.

I guess timing really IS everything. My daughter, who graduated from high school last Thursday (6/10) turned 18 yesterday (6/15) and leaves for Lackland AFB on Tuesday (6/22). She is our oldest. She couldn't be more excited about her decision to join the Air Force and, hopefully, a career in meteorology (she'll attend Tech School at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, MS after basic training). I am SO happy to have found this site as a resource, because I know, trusting fellow moms, your information will be honest and reliable. Afterall, you're the ones who have been there, done that (and ARE there, DOING that). I found this site this evening, and my registration has not yet been accepted, but I'm happy to "sign" the Guest Book. I would be MOST grateful to anyone who might have words of information, support, encouragement and behind-the-scenes background on what we can expect in the days, weeks and months to come. It's pretty scary. Blessings to you all!

We cry...We wait...We pray. How true those words are. My daughter is in the Navy, a communications officer for the Navy Seals; and her husband is a Marine, shortly to be deployed to Iraq. They are expecting their first child in October. I have been surfing all the sites for soldier support and am just amazed at how much is out there for them and their families. The war is definitely not over for our soldiers--or the families who must wait...cry...and pray.

I'm a military mom and very proud of what my son is doing for his country. Its very frightening to know that his life as well as all the others could be taken from us at anytime. I pray each and every day that all the young men and women come home soon to their families. My son is doing what he feels is right for his country and his beliefs of what the USA stands for. I can only hope that someone out there understands the fright and pain of not knowing what or when you will hear your childs voice again. I'm alone in all of this, I'm a single parent and he is my only son. God Bless Them All...................

My name is Toni and my son just left for basic training at Fort Benning Georgia June 9. I accidently found this site and I think it is wonderful. I read some of the old entries in the guest book and found that what I'm feeling is totally normal. I don't think I've ever cried so much and it seems so hard to function. I can't even sleep at night because I wonder wnat he is going through. He's wanted to be a Ranger for over a year and a half and hopefully is going to fullfill his dream. Thanks for a great site for me to visit...

I think this is a wonderful thing that you all are doing. I'm not a Military Mom, but I do have a cousin that is in the Marines and is leaving for Iraq on June 19, 2004 and that's all I can think about. I'm so worried about him not making it home. I also have a cousin that is in the Army. He is in El Paso right now. Both of them were my best friends and it's a lot harder now that they aren't here with me, but I am very proud of them for putting their life on the line for me and everybody else.

After a sleepless night and several phone calls today, I am thrilled to find this site. Bless You! My son, Sgt. Mathew Bartlett, deployed to Iraq, with 1st Cav, out of Ft.Hood,TX, February of this year. I know he does a rotation at the UN building every four weeks, other wise he is on the line in Sadr City. I miss him so much...I can't believe that my son is fighting a war, in such danger. I pray constantly for his safety...that he'll be strong and smart...and know that God is with him...and he will never be alone. I wonder constantly what he is doing...is he every afraid or lonely...and I'm hoping not. A year is so long...I pray that it will go quickly and our children will be home soon. God Bless all of those young people ...they're special souls to put there lives on the line for freedom. "Be smart, be strong, be safe"...that's what I've told Mat since bootcamp, and I'm still telling him that now. He's in God's great hands. I will continue to pray for all of our brave sons and daughters. God Bless you all! Sincerely, Christine A VERY proud Army Mom :o)

Your site seems very comforting. Because it seems most of the sites for military families focus on the wives . But a lot of the soldiers are very young and not married. And so it is good to have a website for mom's of military people. Although I am a little leary of some of the website right now. Because I recenty visited one that somehow gave me an uneasy feeling because they were asking for a few dollars to join as a member. And they send you information etc. etc. So right now I am testing the waters so to speak But I can say that your information about basic training helped put my mind a little more at ease. So, Thanks . I will visit agiain.

Little Girl- Daddy loves you! Though sometimes he's far He's fighting to protect The red, white, blue and the stars When our Nation's in turmoil He's vowed to go fight To protect what is good What is just And what's right He does it for you He does it for me So we may continue to live In a land that is free When things get scary He's one of the brave Who steps up and fixes The mess that was made When bad people do things That aren't very nice He tells them to stop it Or they'll pay a big price Then when things get all better When the bad people are good Daddy will come home Just like he said he would I know your Daddy misses you As much as you miss him And he dreams of the day He'll see you again But until that day comes We all have to pray That God will protect Daddy While he fights for our USA

I am a strong and loving wife with a husband soon to go. There are times I'm terrified in a way most never know. I bite my lip, and force a smile as I watch my husband pack. My heart may break, but I am proud. My husband's got your back. I am a soldier, serving proudly, standing tall. I fight for freedom, yours and mine by answering this call. I do my job while knowing thanks it sometimes lacks. Say a prayer that I'll come home. It's me who's got your back.

what a fallen hero might say ******************************************** We went there when we were young. But died before our work was done. With friends we tried to rid the land Of tyranny and oppression to let freedom stand But our time was up so we passed the baton To those behind us to carry on. Now through these years of untold pain We know we did not die in vain So they put our names upon the wall in HONOR and MEMORY of those who gave all And though we are not here today We want you to know we are finally OK ********************************************

Chris' big worry is that Adam is forgetting about him. We all worry about Chris and pray for him daily as we do for all of our military. God bless America and all of our young men and women fighting for freedom.

I am the executive assistant for the James Finkelstein for Senate campaign. This is not a normal political campaign- he's running because "he's not a politician- he's a parent". His campaign motto is "BRING THE TROOPS HOME SAFE". I would appreciate it very much if you would review out web site and send it to others- www.finkelstein4senate.org Also, we are attempting to set up rallies in Ft. BEnning and Ft. Stewart- I was wondering if anyone is willing to help out with this. If you are interested in trying to help us get the word to "BRING OUR TROOPS HOME SAFE" please e-mail me at amandagriffin@alltel.net or visit our web site and e-mail Mr. Finkelstein. Thanks for your work and cooperation. Amanda Griffin, Executive Assistant

Thanks for the this web site. It is something I have been looking for. I am a mother of a soldier in Iraq, my only son and child. He is in the Army Reserves. He left for his 2 week training to Germany in November 2003 and was informed that 20 soldiers from his unit would be deployed to complete a unit in Pennsylvania. He called to let us know that he was coming home earlier to be depolyed. We spent Thanksgivings together which I was greatful for. He left for Pennsylvania on December 3, 2003 for his mobilization deployment. This would be the first time he would be away for the holidays. He surprised me and came home on Christmas Eve which made my holiday very special. Please pray for all the soldiers and keep them in your thoughts.

Thanks Wendy. My son is in Iraq and will be till oct I think. He's a Navy CB working very hard repairing Iraq. Long hours, and conditions that are less than favoriable. Pray Psalms 91 for him as I have for the past 2 months of his stay.

This is a quick note to say following my son Nathans' year in Korea, he was expecting a very nice new military home at Ft Lewis WA. He just called and his room is pretty bad and he was just assigned to a command office desk job. He was very disappointed. We actually prayed over the phone that the Lord will show is purpose and to give Nath the skills and abilities for this work and for what is ahead of him He expects to be in Iraq by Sept. After reading so many letters in the guest book, I see we are fortunate. Iraq is still a troubling situation and all of our soldiers, young and old need to know we are so thankful for their service. Thank you all for caring for each other as we raised remarkable young men and women who serve America ! I pray every day for our military safety and please include PFC Nathan Lensch for a couple of days until he feels settled in at Ft Lewis. He needs a good nites sleep and a couple of good meals, but he now has a desk job which was not what the Infantry is all about Thank you all!

What a wonderful web site. My only son is 22 and is serving in the U.S. Air force overseas. He spent a year in Japan and then served a 120 day deployment in Pakistan and is now back in Japan. My son, Andrew, lost his father to a heart-attack 2 months before his high school graduation. He had already made plans to enlist in the Air Force before his father's death. My late husband was an Air Force veteran. He, too, enlisted after high school and was in the Air Force from 1969 to 1973 and he saw action in the Viet Nam war. My son is proud to do his duty to serve our country. His three sisters and I are with him in spirit and praying for his safety every day. Andrew is a wonderful young man who has made his entire family proud. All mothers of those in the military can say we honor our nation by supporting our children in protecting our country and our freedom.

While serving in the US Navy in the Persian Gulf during the Iranian Hostage Crisis the one thing I could count on was a daily letter from my Mom. Just that simple...somebody back home remembered me every day of the world and that somebody was my Mom...a military Mom and a military Wife. NEVER, EVER, EVER underestimate what a simple letter, note or card can mean to that son or daughter serving overseas. It's simple and it's powerful and it doesn't have to be elaborate ... it just has to be from Mom. How unfortunate the vast majority of people in our great nation have little or no knowledge of the nation's greatest hero and the most unsung hero...the military Moms and Wives of our brave citizens in uniform.

What a great service you have done with this website and a blessing to come here for support. I have a son who is with the 1st Armored Division now serving in Baghdad, Iraq and a daughter who is in the guard waiting orders to be deployed, but not sure where. I am so very proud of them both. But like most moms I worry as what is instore for them. My son has seen some pretty devestating things in Iraq. He now has been there for 1 year and is part of the many that had there stay in Iraq extended a few more months. I worry about him constantly and pray for him as I do for the many other men and women that are serving there and hope, all this will end, but I know they are doing a great job and this site is a comfort to know that others are going through the same feelings that I am going through. Again thank you for the comfort this website brings.

Thank you for this beautiful web-site. It was referenced in an article on the Fox News Site. It is comforting to think about all the others like me. At times I feel very alone, but there are so many of us. Mother's Day will be difficult. My son, Sgt James Hultgren, is serving in the US Army, home base of Kuwait, missions in his transportation unit to Iraq. He calls when he can and his most comforting words to me are: "this is my job mom, I am doing what I chose to do and it is the right thing to do, please don't worry". I must honor his committment and support his strong belief in what he is doing. That is what will get me through. God Bless All of You!

Forgot to say to all those Moms out there. My brother is at Ft. Hood right now. Part of 4th ID. I hear from him rarely. My mother, even less. My husband formerly of 1st Cav Ft. Hood, has told me not to worry. Men don't like to call their mommies. But they love them. Don't worry. It will be okay. We will win this fight...

I have been looking for a website like this! Thank you! My son's Family Readiness Group in Hawaii emailed me the link. He is currently serving in Iraq and I find I need the support of others who truly know what I am feeling. I love the fact that this is a Christian based site. I've been through the whole site and you have done a wonderful job.

Hi, my name is Diane and my son Brian is now more than half way through boot camp at Ft. Benning--he will graudate in June and had told us that he hoping to train with the 173rd Airborne division. I feel so helpless since you get little information--if you could fill me in I would be grateful. He opted to leave a 4 year military college scholarship and join up- I only hope he is really doing what he wants to be doing
